Richard Borovsky's cut-paper assemblages are made with fine acid-free paper and archival quality ph neutral glue. Though the pieces included in the gallery here appear to be flat, they actually do have a slight dimensionality as seen in the detail photos included. A picture of the materials used appears at the end of the gallery.
Richard Borovsky lived in Madison, Wisconsin, until his passing in July of 2025. He is dearly missed by his surviving family and friends, but his memory lives on through the many works of art he shared with the world.
He was a novelist and composer in the classical style as well as an artist. A complete listing of his magical realist tales are available at Lulu.com under his name or by clicking this link.
